Wichita Homeschool Warriors Team Information One of our team's strengths is the ability to place team members in areas well suited to them. For instance, at the beginning of each year, each team member is given a personality test to discover if they are a leader lion, outgoing otter, peacemaking golden retriever, or analytical beaver. Students also fill out questionnaires to determine whether they are interested in the BEST or robot side and what areas they prefer to work on in these divisions. Based on this information, we are able to place team members in the positions best suited to them and the team.
Personality Test Results
Our team is made up of 38 students ranging from the 7th to the 12th grades of which 21 percent are female. Some students come from up to 47 miles away. Another interesting fact is that 42 percent of the students work in the BEST department. All students are encouraged to be active participants in the engineering process which includes reading the requirements, brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and design concepts. So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. ~Romans 12:5~
